Those of you who know me, those who I intended to use this page, by now you know it has been relocated
and you know the new location. I didn't get a chance to explain the full reason to all of you.
What would you think of a person who had issues with the content of my personal web page who took the time
to track down my real name, find out where I work, find the customer service number of where I work, call that
number and track down my supervisor, all to complain to my supervisor about the content of my page?
I say he is a coward who is afraid to confront someone directly over ideas. A coward who knows he does not
have a reason for complaint and just wants to cause trouble. And then to find out that he is a lawyer. A coward
who must have missed class the day they covered the first amendment.
So Coward, know this...
1. UITS reviewed the contents of my page. In no way did it conflict with any policies.
2. My employer did not ask me to change the contents, or to move them from IU servers. I do so in the hope
that you will no longer hassle them over my personal web pages and create additional pointless work for them.
3. The information is still available. The people I intend to use this information have the location.
I'll let you work to find it.
4. Mypage pages at IU are not cataloged by search engines. Traffic here was minimal. The counter at the
bottom of the page can confirm that.
5. My new page has already been found by at least one search engine in the small time it has been up.
Traffic in the past few days on the new page has surpassed activity on this page for the entire year.
Did they cover the "Law of Unintended Consequences" in law school?
