I taught Indo-Chinese refugee kids (aged 6-11) under the philosophy of Whole Language for two years, but I reckon Critical Literacy in higher education deals with many more complicated issues, given the maturity of learners.  As a new face in the Critical Literacy community, I compiled the following list of resources. So, you might find some introductory articles among these resources. Also, since my interest is in CALL (Computer-Assisted Language Learning), I bookmarked the CALL articles I found that relate closely to Critical Literacy.
