HILTON DESCENDANTS: The descendant lists start with Richard Hilton, born 1753, a Revolutionary War veteran who lived in the area of Saratoga New York and died in 1842 in Oswego County, New York. Other researchers have traced this line back to Willem Hilton, born 1665 in Yorkshire, England, who was among the early settlers of Albany County, New York. Richard Hilton had nine children but descendant lists are given for only two: Peter Hilton, 1779-1871 and John W. Hilton, 1797-1850.
Peter Hilton, 1779-1781. Peter Hilton had two families. In the first he was married to Betsie Ann Watson and had five children: Hiram, John, Jeremiah, Anna and Louisa. In the second he was married to Sarah Preston and had nine children: Alonzo, Caroline, Peter, Richard, James, Charles, William, Josiah and Philo. All the known descendants of Peter Hilton are in this one list.

Robert G. Woodley
Born June 7, 1930, Los Angeles California, the second son of Harold and Margaret
Gens Woodley
Attended public school in Los Angeles and graduated from John Marshall High
School in 1948.
Graduated from UCLA in 1952 with a BA in physics.
1952 - 1954: US Army Ordnance, stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in
California.
Graduated from Iowa State University in 1957 with an MA in physics. First
job at Memorial Hospital in New York City.
1959 - 1969: Brookhaven National Laboratory, Long Island, NY.
1969 - 1994: Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.
Retired in 1994.
